The story of Altura Plumbing & Heating began in June 2012, when our owner Joe Zittel saw an opportunity to start a local plumbing and HVAC business that's better suited for the local community. Starting out as a one-man shop, Joe balanced plumbing half the day and welding in the afternoons to provide for his family while establishing the business regionally.
Through word-of-mouth referrals and a reputation for integrity, our company continued to grow, allowing us to expand our team into seven full-time technicians and better serve the growing plumbing and HVAC needs of Winona County. Over the course of our company's history, one goal remains the same: Do whatever it takes to ensure all our customers are more than satisfied with our work!
Joe Zittel isn't just the owner; he is the heart of our personable service. With a certified state plumbing license (PM066355) and deep local roots with the Altura community, Joe personally onboards all new clients to ensure every customer gets a straight answer and a fair estimate immediately.
